The ALIVE Prayer Strategy
Let me introduce everyone to The ALIVE Prayer Strategy
What is it? It's a motivational tool to promote prayer in the life of the youth that's a part of our youth ministry. It consists of praying for seven specific requests, for seven minutes a day, seven days a week.
When do we start? July of 2009 is when we are starting it. It doesn't matter if you are reading this later in the month, you can join in any time. If you are at home you can pray, if we are at church we can all pray together. We must learn to "pray without ceasing" and we must learn "how to pray".
Here are the seven reasons to pray each day for seven minutes:

Monday: “Pray for SELF”
Tuesday: “Pray for your FAMILY”
Wednesday: “Pray for all AUTHORITIES”
Thursday: “Pray for the WORLD”
Friday: “Pray for your CHURCH”
Saturday: “Pray for the LOST”
Sunday: “Pray for the NEEDY”
